Who We Are

We are mission driven

Trim Tab’s mission is to renew housing and inspire better living.

Our purpose is to raise the standard of living for the tenants and owners we serve through better quality housing. We focus on brighter spaces, fresher air, comfort throughout temperature extremes, and long-term affordability.

We believe a better indoor environment will instill a greater sense of stewardship to strengthen our communities and preserve our natural environment.

We deliver turnkey energy retrofits

Energy retrofits are building improvements that impact energy usage. It includes things that increase energy usage (e.g., adding ventilation), reduce energy usage (e.g., a better insulated building envelope), or transition to cleaner energy sources (e.g. fuel switching from a furnace to a heat pump).

Energy retrofits are important because they directly affect affordability, our environmental impact, and the things we want most from our indoor environment, especially thermal comfort.

Trim Tab got started to address the need for a service provider who specializes in energy retrofits. Energy retrofits can be complicated and timing matters.

Trim Tab’s approach is rooted in a sound understanding of building science and capturing the opportunity to perform retrofits when it makes the most sense.

To ensure the work is done right and at the right time, Trim Tab streamlines the execution of retrofits through its unique business model as an energy contractor, which integrates testing and measurement with the traditional capabilities of a multi-trade contractor.
